8053 Alexandra Rd V6X 1C3,
Menu now focussed on cart noodle soup with some fried snacks. Looks like the business has been sold.
Boring taste. Taste like what you can make at home. Only thing is that it is super cheap especially for the people who are lazy to cook
Nice noodles. Good services and clean restaurant.
At first, I was thinking this place was gonna have lots of variety of HK style stuff, from fried rice to noodles, until I noticed they sell snacks and cart noodles. I had seaweed, fish balls, sausage and ramen for mine. It turned out pretty good, lots of seaweed and not a bad amount of fish balls. Chicken wings were quite good as well but the seating is quite low. Overall, not bad.
Love the HK style milk tea here. Foods combo choice is convenient and delicious.
It's aight. Kind of on the "pricey side" for what you get, granted, it's not horrendous. This place is big on "cart noodles and cart rice" but I opted for the chicken combo (pictured). Came in at about $15 just for that. Cart noodles and rice is expectedly cheaper (you have a selection of 2 to 4 items to add on your noodles/rice) and came with a good serving of carbs, but whatever items you get on top isn't that overly impressive quantity/quality wise.Having said, the service was quick and food comes fast, so if you just want to get on with your business, this establishment is a decent option over the "usual" fast food joints.
Wanted to get HK style cafe food but ended up here instead somehow. This place serves Chinese BBQ on rice mainly and it was a pleasant surprise. Price was decent and so was the food. Service was attentive, it was a small eatery. Would go again next time I have a Chinese BBQ again.
Service attitude is medicore at best, but no complains on the food.
Yummy wings. Excellent service thank you!
Was recently chatting with a friend about Lido cafe and was told there was spin-off of the restaurant by an ex chef of the restaurant. Excitedly, I took my family to the restaurant to try out. First off a few things1) restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. 2) menus are mostly in Chinese with the drink menu being an exception3) restaurant is much updated from lido.In terms of food, it's better than most HK cafes with smooth HK style milk tea. The pineapple buns were hot and fresh out of the oven. Congee was thick and hot. The satay beef noodle had tender slices of beef. However the flavors were still not quite as delicious as Lido. The satay beef soup was good but not great. The pineapple bun was missing something in terms of flavor vs lido.
This restaurant is almost like the sister restaurant of Lido but the satay beef with instant noodles is even tastier! The pineapple buns are the same as Lido. Hot milk tea is just as good. It looks like a more modern Lido with nicer furnishings. Parking is difficult to find though.
Limited free parking in the front. Lots more in the center of the mall. Not many tables. Will be busy during normal lunch/dinner time. Many home-made ingredients. All food tasted good. Prices are reasonable. Add-on deals make it even less pricey. Soup noodle base includes chicken stock, which is not spicy at all. Cash only.
We come here for quick Hong Kong cafe style breakfast combos and pineapple bun with butter. Very simple place that usually has a lineup. They do have an English menu now too...
Decent cheap and quick lunch option in Richmond
The the noodle soup combo is a good deal. You can upgrade the tray bun to bor lor yay. The bor lor yay wasn't fresh enough and was barely warm - it really depends on the time of day you go and how busy it is. The milk tea was on point. Noodle was slightly soggy and beef was slightly mushy but soup base was good. Overall, good traditional HK style cafe.
Fish noodles + $1 in their choices for Noodle soup. Healthy option, recommended if you never had it.
Surprising cheap, but very filling and tasty.
Typical HK cafe style, with HK style cafe service.
A authentic Cantonese restaurant! Fast and friendly service! Good food! Cash Only! The set menu is really cheap! Most importantly, there is a great variety of choices, you can choose how much food you want! For me, for a quick lunch, I can just pick two items with rice noodle + fried chicken wings, for less than $10! You can add more items for different prices (but still very cheap)! Unfortunately, they do not serve pineapple curst bun with melt butter anymore! I am kinda disappointed for this!! The waitress told me, the google information is not accurate! And many customers do ask for the pineapple curst bun with melt butter so I would like to point it out here!!!P.S. 佢哋唔å†è³£è 蘿油ï¼
The rice noodle I had for my cart noodles were stuck together but the soup didn't have too much MSG in it, so that was good. Prices were cheap, $8 for four toppings, plus $1 for the 2 pieces of chicken wings. The Lo Bak Gao was too doughy for me but the chicken wings were crispy and lightly seasoned.
Good food and much nicer environment compared to the famous lido. I'd rather come here than going to lido.
Recent change of owner and menu. Hitherto famed for congee and pineapple buns. It is now a noodle house. Previously uploaded photos no longer apply. Outdoor plaza parking. In between Canada Line Lansdowne Station and Aberdeen Station.
They only serve cart noodles now with snacks. The chicken wings are a great deal if you do the $1 add-on to any cart noodle combination. They also sell desserts in their fridge, and lamb pot. Part of Chinese New year they're selling cakes and desserts - prices range from $16.88-$24.88.
Cart noodles, nothing surprised me. The wait was unreasonably long and parking was terrible.
Food is quick, good quality and at a reasonable price. Good place to go if you want a quick bite and something hot!
